World Export Development Forum 2017, October 25th - 26th, Budabest, Hungary

25.10.2017
Budabest, Hungary
Description of the event:

Trade – A force for good: Include, Innovate, Integrate

The 17th edition of the World Export Development Forum (WEDF) in Budapest, Hungary, explores how trade can be a force for good at a time when global challenges – economic, social and environmental – are changing the way trade works. The International Trade Centre (ITC) flagship event will be hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.

In addition to policy discussions and practical workshops, facilitated business-to-business meetings will create opportunities for international and national companies to forge new partnerships.

The event will also include the launch of the Hungarian chapter of SheTrades, ITC women’s empowerment initiative aiming at connecting one million women to international markets by 2020.

• Entrepreneurs, come to do business
• Policymakers, come to gain fresh perspectives
• Development partners, come to hear from practitioners about what works on the ground

Let’s make trade work for the 99%!
